Frame House
This concept for a private residence embodies modern forms and materials structured to form the quintessential vernacular of home: a gable roof. A subdued material palette of washed-out brick, subtle white tones of plaster, and warm natural wood accents comprise the exterior of the house.
Large openings exhibit the warmth of the interior spaces while allowing a direct and organized connection to the immediate outdoor landscaped areas surrounding the home.

Indoor and outdoor spaces are programmed for adjacency and overlapping uses. Plantings soften every opening exposure and are intended to blend experiences of indoor and outdoor.
Beyond horizontal connections, an additional vertical component of circulation allows rooftop spaces to be combined with ground floor areas, using both stairs and plantings as blending mediums.
